1. Introduction
Tony AI ("we", "our", "us") is an AI-powered assistant and messaging application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
2. Information We Collect
Account Information
Tony AI uses the Telegram messaging protocol for chat functionality. When you connect your Telegram account, we access your Telegram profile (name, phone number, profile photo) solely to enable messaging features.
AI Tool Usage
Tony AI provides AI-powered features in the following areas:
- AI Hub: Writer, Translator, Remove Background, Upscale, Remove Text, Generate Image
- In-chat AI: AI assistance features inside 1-on-1 and group conversations
- Explore AI summaries: Article summaries pre-computed on our servers (no user data sent when viewing)
What we send: When you use AI Hub tools or in-chat AI, we send text you type and/or images you upload to industry-leading AI providers including Google Gemini, OpenAI ChatGPT, and Anthropic Claude via our secure backend servers.
How it's protected:
- Used only to generate the requested result
- Not used by our providers to train AI models
- Not linked to your identity by AI providers
- Not stored by AI providers after processing
Your consent: Before any AI feature sends your data, Tony AI asks for your explicit consent via an in-app disclosure. You can disable AI features anytime in Settings → Tony AI → Enable Tony AI.
News Feed
The Explore tab displays AI-generated summaries of news articles from publicly available sources. These summaries are pre-computed on our servers — your personal data is not sent to AI providers when you view or tap on an article. We do not track which articles you read.
Phone & Device Information
We may collect basic device information (OS version, device model) for app compatibility and crash reporting purposes. Your phone number is used for Telegram authentication. Phone state may be accessed to manage in-app calls.
Location Data
Tony AI may access your location in the following limited circumstances:
- What we access: Precise location (GPS), approximate location (network-based), and photo location metadata (EXIF) when you share photos
- When: Only when you explicitly share your location in a chat conversation
- Why: To enable location sharing in messaging
- Where shared: Transmitted to Telegram servers as part of the messaging protocol
- Background location: Accessed only during active live location sharing sessions
- Retention: We do not store location data; it is managed entirely by Telegram
Contacts
Tony AI accesses your device contacts to help you find friends on the platform via the Telegram messaging protocol. Contacts are synced through Telegram's infrastructure and are not independently stored or shared by Tony AI.
Camera & Microphone
- Camera: Used for taking photos and videos to share in chats or use with AI image tools
- Microphone: Used for recording voice messages and making voice/video calls
- Neither the camera nor microphone is accessed in the background
Storage & Media
- Tony AI accesses device storage to send and receive files in chats
- Media submitted for AI processing is not retained after processing completes
- APK files and other downloads are saved to device storage only at your explicit request
Clipboard
Tony AI may read clipboard content for link detection and paste functionality. Clipboard data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
Biometric Data
If you enable app lock, Tony AI uses your device's fingerprint or face recognition to authenticate access. Biometric data is processed entirely on-device by the operating system and is never transmitted to or stored by Tony AI.
App Installation
Tony AI supports installing APK files received as chat attachments. Installation only occurs at your explicit request and requires your confirmation. We do not initiate installations automatically.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide AI tool functionality (text transformation, translation, image processing)
- To enable secure messaging through the Telegram protocol
- To display curated news content
- To improve app performance and fix bugs
4. Third-Party Services
Tony AI integrates with the following third-party services:

5. Data Storage and Security
- AI tool inputs and outputs are processed in real-time and not stored on our servers
- All AI requests are routed through our secure server proxy — no API keys are stored on your device
- Chat messages are handled by the Telegram protocol with end-to-end encryption support
- News articles are cached in device memory only and cleared when the app is closed
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data is only shared with the third-party AI providers listed above, solely for the purpose of providing the requested AI functionality.
7. Your Rights
- You can use AI tools without creating an account (browse-only mode)
- You can disconnect your Telegram account at any time
- All AI processing is stateless - no history is maintained
- You can delete your account at any time through Telegram's account deletion process
8. Children's Privacy
Tony AI is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

뉴스 피드
탐색 탭은 공개된 소스의 뉴스 기사에 대한 AI 생성 요약을 표시합니다. 이러한 요약은 당사 서버에서 사전 생성되므로, 기사를 보거나 탭할 때 이용자의 개인 데이터가 AI 제공업체로 전송되지 않습니다. 이용자가 읽은 기사를 추적하지 않습니다.
전화 및 기기 정보
앱 호환성 및 충돌 보고를 위해 기본적인 기기 정보(OS 버전, 기기 모델)를 수집할 수 있습니다. 전화번호는 Telegram 인증에 사용됩니다. 앱 내 통화 관리를 위해 전화 상태에 접근할 수 있습니다.
위치 데이터
토니 AI는 다음과 같은 제한된 상황에서만 위치 정보에 접근합니다:

토니 AI는 링크 감지 및 붙여넣기 기능을 위해 클립보드 내용을 읽을 수 있습니다. 클립보드 데이터는 기기에서 로컬로 처리되며 당사 서버로 전송되지 않습니다.
생체 인증 데이터
앱 잠금을 활성화하면 토니 AI는 접근 인증을 위해 기기의 지문 또는 얼굴 인식을 사용합니다. 생체 인증 데이터는 운영 체제에 의해 기기에서만 처리되며 토니 AI가 전송하거나 저장하지 않습니다.
앱 설치
토니 AI는 채팅 첨부 파일로 받은 APK 파일 설치를 지원합니다. 설치는 이용자의 명시적 요청 및 확인 후에만 이루어집니다. 자동으로 설치를 시작하지 않습니다.

- 채팅 메시지는 종단간 암호화를 지원하는 Telegram 프로토콜을 통해 처리됩니다
- 뉴스 기사는 기기 메모리에만 캐시되며 앱 종료 시 삭제됩니다

- Telegram 계정 삭제 절차를 통해 언제든지 계정을 삭제하실 수 있습니다
8. 아동 개인정보 보호
토니 AI는 만 13세 미만 아동을 대상으로 하지 않습니다. 당사는 만 13세 미만 아동의 개인정보를 의도적으로 수집하지 않습니다.
9. 방침 변경
당사는 본 개인정보 처리방침을 수시로 업데이트할 수 있습니다. 변경 사항은 이 페이지에 새로운 방침을 게시하고 "최종 수정일"을 업데이트하는 방식으로 고지합니다.
